We sponsor free Walkabout groups nationwide to bring people together.
It began with a conversation in spring 2023. Changing working patterns since the pandemic mean most of us spend less time with other people. We wondered how to help as many people have at least a monthly opportunity to meet up. So we started organising Walkabouts…
How to get involved
In London?
We meet at 5pm every fourth Tuesday of the month (except December) at the statue of the Goddess Diana by Green Park Tube Station.
Come and join us. Bring a #plusone!
And join our LinkedIn group for the latest information.
Not in London?
Find a Walkabout near you
We currently organise Walkabouts in London, Birmingham, St Albans and Winchester, but more are being added.
To find one near you, join our “Walkabout – Worldwide” LinkedIn Group and check Ben Brabyn‘s LinkedIn events
Everyone is welcome at Walkabouts and we encourage you to bring a “plus one” – or several.
We typically walk gently for an hour and then head to a bar or pub for those that want to carry on their conversations.
Create a new Walkabout group
Become a Walkabout host
In case you don’t live or work near one of the existing Walkabouts, we can help you set up a walkabout in your own neighbourhood.
The commitment is small – just posting details of each month’s Walkabout and providing contact details for people to sign up and find you on the day.
Hosting a Walkabout makes a real contribution to your neighbourhood and community, and it’s easy to get started, so don’t hesitate – contact us today and we’ll help you get going.
