Which Metaphorical Razor Do You Recommend?

This week I’ve been introduced to two new razors. They’re the metaphorical rather than the literal kind (I’m a wet-shave habitué). These are Hanlon’s Razor and Auden’s Razor. They state, respectively:

“Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.”

and

“If equal affection cannot be,
Let the more loving one be me.”

These both seem like excellent advice, and particularly valuable to people who are dedicated to building healthy and sustainable relationships. I’m grateful to Chris Meah and Max Dickins for pointing out that they are available in razor form!

Previously my metaphorical razor pack contained only Occam’s Razor (if you have two competing ideas to explain the same phenomenon, you should prefer the simpler one), so this week has seen a tripling of my metaphorical razor supply.

Do you have any others that you recommend?
